Missy specializes in working with difficult horses and with riders who have had a bad experience with their horse. “Whoever moves the horse’s feet, controls the horse,” she explained to me. So if she sees a horse eating some grass she’ll mosey over and slowly move the horse off the spot so the grassy area is hers. The horse then sees her as dominant and will respond to her in a better way. That’s the idea anyway.
